We are hiring a Data Analyst for our client located in the Everett, MA, area. The person hired for this position will support enterprise data, reporting, and analytics initiatives. This role will partner with business stakeholders, project managers, administrators, architects, and development teams to analyze business needs, improve processes, and deliver effective reporting and data solutions.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, highly organized professional with strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills. This individual will be comfortable bridging business and technical teams while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, data cubes, and other reporting solutions based on defined business and technical requirements.
- Utilize reporting and data analysis tools such as SAS, SQL, BusinessObjects, and other applicable technologies.
- Take independent ownership of assigned subject areas within the reporting and analytics environment.
- Provide technical expertise and support within the data warehouse and reporting framework.
- Partner with architects, developers, analysts, and other technical stakeholders to improve system performance and expand functionality.
- Analyze business and reporting requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Maintain and document reporting, analytics, and operational environments.
- Conduct technical training and provide knowledge transfer to internal users and team members.
- Support application installation, configuration, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting capabilities, data quality, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively across business and technical teams in an Agile environment.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
- Proficiency with SQL and experience with reporting or analytics tools such as SAS and BusinessObjects.
- Experience working with data warehouses, reporting frameworks, data cubes, or related analytics environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and translate business requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile or similarly iterative environment is preferred.
- Experience supporting application installation, upgrades, documentation, and operational environments is a plus.
Pay up to $65.25 / hour W2
