Job Details:
\n
• 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
\n • Must have active license at time of submission
\n • Day shift hours: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM; Night shift hours: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n • Patient ratio of 1:5, with potential to stretch to 1:6
\n • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
\n • Telemetry experience required
\n • Preferred experience includes surgical bariatrics, cardiac experience, vascular surgery, and wound vac/dressing changes
\n • Care for patients with conditions including vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, general surgery, telemetry, peripheral vascular disease, sepsis, atherosclerosis, GI bleeds, chest tubes, and arrhythmias
\n • Equipment used includes Pyxis, Alaris Pumps, Bladder Scanners, EKGs, Atrium Chest Tubes, Dinamaps, and Vein Finder
\n • EMR system: Meditech Expanse
\n • Float to like med-surgical units and other areas of the hospital such as PCU/ED if patients are overflowing, with same patient types
\n • Ideal candidate is a team player, hard-working, multi-tasker, and flexible

This facility is a well-established medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The 4 South unit is a 47-bed medical-surgical and telemetry floor consisting of 23 semi-private rooms and 1 private room. The unit is staffed by a collaborative team including charge nurses, registered nurses, LNAs, unit clerks, and telemetry technicians, working together to provide high-quality patient care across a diverse range of medical and surgical conditions.
