Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within a school setting located in Peabody, MA. This contract position involves delivering remote speech-language therapy to support students’ communication development and educational success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations remotely
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans for students
- Providing telespeech therapy sessions that address articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other service providers to monitor progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary
- Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience delivering speech-language pathology services via telepractice platforms
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders commonly encountered in school settings
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to engage students effectively through virtual platforms and adapt therapy techniques accordingly
This contract role offers the opportunity to work remotely while making a meaningful impact on student communication skills. The position is situated in the Peabody, MA area, and services are provided through telespeech methods.
