Position Summary
\n
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join a manufacturing organization in Acton, MA. This role will support quality assurance, inspection, corrective actions, supplier quality, documentation, and continuous improvement activities within a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Coordinate quality inspection activities for mechanical and electro-mechanical products and components.
- Manage inbound and outbound RMAs while working with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues.
- Investigate non-conformances and support corrective actions and root cause analysis.
- Work with suppliers to resolve incoming material and component quality issues.
- Coordinate and maintain equipment calibration schedules, records, and documentation.
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements using GD&T.
- Maintain quality documentation, procedures, records, and other quality-related information.
- Collect and organize quality data and create reports, charts, and metrics using Excel.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and day-to-day quality activities.
- Collaborate with Operations and other departments to resolve product and process quality issues.

Required Qualifications
\n
- \n
- 3–5 years of experience in a QA or Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with mechanical products.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Experience handling RMAs and corrective actions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data gathering, reporting, and chart creation.
