Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting Kindergarten through 2nd-grade students in a specialized autism ABA program. This full-time contract role starts ASAP and continues through June 2027, with a set schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:00 PM. You'll manage a caseload of approximately 11 students, with the added support of three dedicated paraprofessionals within a collaborative and structured environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Special Education Teaching Certification
- Direct experience using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies in classroom settings
- Familiarity with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, including documentation and goal-tracking
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
- Commitment to providing inclusive, data-driven instruction for students on the autism spectrum
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to K-2 students according to IEP goals and ABA methodologies
- Develop and modify curriculum materials tailored to individual learning needs and behavioral strategies
- Supervise and mentor three paraprofessionals to ensure effective ABA implementation and student support
- Maintain detailed student records, progress monitoring, and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment focused on growth and independence
