Position Summary

\tWe are seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor to provide clinical and operational leadership across multiple nursing units and hospital departments. The Nursing Supervisor will oversee patient care, staffing, and hospital operations during assigned evening, night, and weekend shifts while working closely with Clinical Managers and the Nursing Leadership Team.
\tThe ideal candidate will have strong acute-care leadership experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to make effective staffing and operational decisions in a fast-paced hospital environment.
\tKey Responsibilities
\tProvide clinical direction and leadership to nursing staff while serving as a professional role model.
\tOversee and evaluate the quality of patient care provided by nursing personnel.
\tEnsure appropriate staffing levels and make cost-effective staffing decisions.
\tCoordinate hospital operations and administrative activities during assigned shifts.
\tServe as the onsite hospital representative for evening, night, and weekend operations.
\tSupport Nursing Division goals, policies, procedures, and standards.
\tCollaborate with Clinical Managers, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
\tPromote effective communication and cooperation among nursing and other hospital departments.
\tAssist with human resource management and promote a positive and professional work environment.
\tParticipate as a member of the Nursing Leadership Team.
\tPromote a positive image of the Nursing Division through professional interactions with patients, families, visitors, physicians, and the community.
\tDemonstrate ongoing commitment to professional growth and development.
\tApply appropriate clinical knowledge and judgment when overseeing care for patients ranging from infants to geriatric populations.
\tRequired Qualifications
\tEducation
\tNursing degree required: Diploma, ASN, or BSN.
\tBSN preferred.
\tExperience
\t5+ years of Nursing Supervisor or House Supervisor experience in an acute-care hospital.
\tPrevious Charge Nurse experience required.
\tDemonstrated nursing leadership experience required.
\tStrong clinical knowledge and ability to oversee patient care across a wide range of age groups.
\tLicensure & Certifications
\tActive Massachusetts RN license required
\tBLS required
\tACLS required
