Impact you will make
Support the manufacturing and field operation of mechanical and electrical projects across capital, expense, and development portfolios. Ensure integrated systems are built, verified, and kept running safely and reliably.
Where you will work and who you report to
- Home base: Onsite in Battleboro, VT when not traveling.
- Reporting line: Manager Remote Monitoring & AV Ops.
Work you will do
- Contribute to rebuilds of outage support systems.
- Perform onsite maintenance, setup, and operation of integrated systems at customer locations.
- Plan for 30–50% travel annually to support outage and emergent scopes.
- Create purchase requisitions from system packages and align daily priorities with guidance.
- Manufacture, test, and peer-check subassemblies following engineering procedures, CAD models, and schematics.
- Assist and mentor Level I and peer technicians on assigned tasks.
What you will bring
- Electronics associate degree, or High School Diploma plus 4+ years of equivalent field experience.
- Proficiency reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Working knowledge of how subparts interact within larger integrated systems.
- Soldering skills such as J-STD-001.
- Fluency with Digital Multimeters, HiPot testers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and calipers.
Pay transparency
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $65,393.45 to $85,031.46.
