Job DescriptionJob Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Main Operating Room

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Main Operating Room team in Boston, MA. In this role, you will deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care to our pediatric patients throughout the surgical process, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to children undergoing surgery.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and various interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and infection control.
• Focus on family-centered care to support patients and their families.
• Circulate and/or scrub for a variety of pediatric surgical procedures.
• Utilize advanced operating room technology effectively.
• Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Engage in teaching and mentoring within an academic environment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current RN licensure.
• Experience in perioperative nursing is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
