Postdoctoral fellow in antibody bioconjugation

Applications are invited for positions involving research in biomedical applications of antibody-nanoparticle conjugates at the Nanomedicine Innovation Center directed by Dr. Srinivas Sridhar at Northeastern University.

Responsibilities

\n

Synthesize and characterize nanobodies for bioconjugation with nanoparticles. Develop conjugation strategies for targeting and immunotherapy. Carry out in vitro and in vivo studies using relevant biological assays and procedures. Supervise and train students (PhD,MS, BS) students. Write research papers and prepare proposals in the field of Nanomedicine. Work with collaborators at Massachusetts General Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

Qualifications

\n

We are looking for dynamic individuals interested in frontier research in nanomedicine, with research experience in characterization and synthesis of nanobodies for immunotherapy, and bioconjugation methods. A Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science or Biomedical Engineering, or related area, and experience in nanobody formulations and cell and animal studies, is required.
