A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services within a school setting in Lowell, MA. This role involves delivering remote speech therapy to students, supporting their communication development and academic progress through virtual platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations via telepractice
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Providing therapy sessions focused on articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication skills
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student progress and adapt strategies as needed
- Maintaining thorough documentation and reporting on student outcomes and goals
- Staying current with best practices and teletherapy techniques to maximize effectiveness
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Proficiency and experience delivering speech therapy services through telepractice platforms
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in school-aged children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and collaborate with school personnel
- Ability to manage a caseload and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations
- Familiarity with educational goals and individualized education programs (IEPs)
