Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join our 2nd shift production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience applying powder coatings in a manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards for quality, consistency, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Apply powder coatings to metal parts using electrostatic spray equipment.
• Prepare parts for coating by inspecting and ensuring surfaces are clean and ready for application.
• Apply coatings to meet required film thickness specifications.
• Measure and verify coating thickness using appropriate inspection tools.
• Work with a variety of powder colors, textures, and finishes while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Follow production schedules and safety procedures.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and report any defects or inconsistencies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a powder coat applicator.
• Experience applying powder coatings in a production manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of MIL coating thickness specifications.
• Experience using coating thickness inspection tools and gauges.
• Ability to work with a wide variety of powder colors, types, and textures.

Shift:

Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM

Pay:

Up to $27/hour, based on experience
