What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates may be considered
- Experience working in K-12 schools or with pediatric populations
- Ability to deliver therapy to individuals and small groups
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff and families
- Familiarity with IEP processes, data collection, and progress monitoring
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting student assessments, screenings, and evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication goals
- Providing therapy services to students as indicated on IEPs
- Documenting progress, preparing reports, and maintaining appropriate records
- Collaborating with general and special education teachers, as well as parents and multidisciplinary teams
- Attending and contributing to IEP meetings and school-wide initiatives
- Advocating for students’ communication needs throughout the school environment
