This role offers the chance to utilize your expertise in occupational therapy—whether as an OT or COTA—within schools or home health settings, supporting a caseload of 20-28 students.
Qualifications Needed:
- Active MA OT or COTA credential required
- Experience working with pediatric and/or K-12 age group preferred
- Previous exposure to school-based or healthcare OT/COTA roles is beneficial
- Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Role Overview & Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services for K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and evaluate therapy plans in line with student IEPs and school objectives
- Conduct assessments, communicate progress, and recommend adaptive equipment or techniques as required
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families for comprehensive student care
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Support students’ academic, social, and functional independence across various learning environments
Position Details:
- Contract type: Full-time, 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Start date: Immediate
- End date: December 30, 2026
- Caseload: 20-28 K-12 students
