Job Description Join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you'll play a critical role in ensuring only quality materials reach production. As an Experienced Incoming Inspector, you'll perform independent inspections of mechanical, electronic, and optical components using precision measurement tools and advanced inspection equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, microscopes, optical comparators, and Keyence Vision Systems
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications
- Document and report nonconforming materials through formal quality reports
- Maintain accurate inspection records in compliance with quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues and support manufacturing priorities
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of inspection experience, or Associate Degree with 2+ years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of precision measurement tools and inspection techniques
- Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T
- Ability to work independently and make sound quality decisions
Preferred:
- IPC-A-610 Certification
- CMM/PC-DMIS experience
- Keyence Vision System programming
- AS9100 or ISO 9001 experience
- Background in high-volume incoming inspection environments
