Your role will center on assisting educators, fostering student development, and contributing to a positive classroom atmosphere.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience working in school settings or supporting children/youth
- High school diploma (no additional certifications required)
- Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and compassion for assisting students with diverse needs
- Adaptability to shift between 1:1 student support and broader classroom collaboration
- Ability to provide three completed professional references, including your most recent manager, prior to interviewing
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with teachers to implement individualized student plans and classroom activities
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social growth throughout the school day
- Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organization
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
