- The Majesco SME is responsible for providing functional and technical leadership across Majesco platforms, supporting insurance domain solutions, and driving successful implementations.
- This role involves translating business requirements into scalable solutions, guiding modernization initiatives, and ensuring alignment with product capabilities and industry best practices.
- The candidate will act as a trusted advisor, lead solution design, and support delivery governance and stakeholder engagement.
Requirement/Must Have:
- Hands-on experience with Majesco Policy, Billing, or Claims modules.
- Strong understanding of insurance processes including P&C, Life, or Group Insurance.
- Experience with Majesco configuration, product modeling, and rules framework.
- Experience with integrations, APIs, middleware, and data migration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience:
- 7–12 years of experience in insurance technology.
- 3–5 years of experience working with Majesco platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary Majesco product expert across functional domains.
- Translate business requirements into Majesco-aligned functional and configuration designs.
- Advise clients on best practices, product capabilities, and roadmap alignment.
- Lead solution discussions for product launches, enhancements, and regulatory changes.
- Own end-to-end solution design leveraging Majesco capabilities.
- Support core system modernization and migration initiatives.
- Review and guide configuration, customization, and integration approaches.
- Ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, and maintainability standards.
- Lead workshops, requirement sessions, and design walkthroughs.
- Support user acceptance testing and implementation activities.
- Review functional specifications, design artifacts, and test strategies.
- Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Support pre-sales activities including proposals and solution demonstrations.
- Mentor teams and contribute to capability building and reusable assets.
Should Have:
- Experience in large-scale core system transformation programs.
- Familiarity with cloud deployments, SaaS models, and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to automation or digital enablement within insurance platforms.
- Experience in consulting or system integration environments.
- Majesco certifications are preferred.

Qualification And Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
