Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students in a contract role as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a welcoming school environment near Peterborough, NH. This opportunity offers you the chance to help shape communication skills at a crucial developmental stage while collaborating with a dedicated educational team.
In this full-time position, you’ll work within one elementary school building serving a caseload of 40-45 students, shared with another SLP. Your workday will run from 8:00 am to 2:40 pm, Monday through Friday, for approximately 32.5-35 hours each week, with the role commencing as soon as possible and continuing through mid-June 2027.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- A valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience providing SLP services in school-based settings
- Familiarity with both individual (1:1) and group therapy models
- Strong skills in conducting assessments, writing reports, attending IEP meetings, and providing direct therapy
- Commitment to collaboration and high professional standards
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech, language, and communication support to students in both group and one-on-one settings
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations and generating detailed reports
- Attending meetings and collaborating with staff and families to develop effective IEPs
- Coordinating and sharing caseload duties with the other building SLP
