Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 35
Bill Rate: $44/hr - $55/hr

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents' physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes
- Educate residents and their families on home exercise programs and fall prevention
- Collaborate with nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to provide holistic care
- Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
- New graduates welcome to apply; no prior experience required
- CPR certification (BLS) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion for working with the elderly population in a skilled nursing setting
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles, modalities, and therapeutic exercise
- Skilled in patient assessment and treatment planning
- Proficient in documentation and electronic medical records (EMR)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Empathy and patience when working with residents
- Team collaboration and interdisciplinary care coordination
