Proficient Staffing Solutions is currently hiring a 1st shift Quality Control Inspector.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 3 year of experience
- Ability to read and understand formal, informal drawings
Schedule:
- First Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Description:
- Quality Control Inspector
- Pay Rate: $18.00 - 22.00
What you’ll do:
- Perform dimensional and visual inspection of fabricated parts
- Perform receiving inspection of incoming materials (raw & repairs)
- Maintain quality records
- Interpret customer and supplier requirements (internal & external)
- Certify Quality Control paperwork
- Read, write and speak English
- Use small hand tools such as calipers, micrometers & drop indicators
Skills
- Ability to work using small hand tools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Position Criteria:
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Receive information from team members regarding customer needs and product requirements and utilize this information to perform one’s function.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve any obstacles or delays that may occur in the production process.
- Knowledge of basic shop math.
- Basic computer knowledge of Windows based operating systems and programs.
- Ability to use measuring tape, and variable gauges, such as calipers.
- Ability to lift, push and pull 35 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
