Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting students in a high school setting as a one-on-one LPN paraprofessional. This contract role involves working closely with a single 10th grade student who requires both physical and medical assistance to fully participate in their daily school activities. Your skills and compassion will provide the essential support needed to create a positive and inclusive educational experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active LPN license required
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a supportive educational setting preferred
- Strong desire to assist students with complex physical or medical needs
- Patience, reliability, and clear communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, therapists, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as a dedicated 1:1 support for a high school student, ensuring safety and well-being throughout the school day
- Assist with necessary medical procedures according to the student’s care plan
- Help facilitate participation in classroom and school activities
- Support mobility and physical needs, fostering independence where possible
- Promptly communicate observations or concerns to the appropriate school staff
- Uphold confidentiality and maintain accurate records as required

- Hours: 8:30 am – 3:45 pm, following the school calendar
- Caseload: One student, 10th grade
