This role entails delivering specialized support to a small caseload of students with selective mutism, ensuring each receives personalized, impactful intervention.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active New Hampshire SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Demonstrated experience delivering services within school settings
- Proven background working with students affected by selective mutism
- Collaborative communication skills for partnering with staff and families
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities
Role Overview:
- Support three students requiring speech-language services, focusing on those with selective mutism
- Schedule: Provide services one day per week (approximately 8 hours)
- Caseload will average 6 hours of direct therapy weekly, complemented by time allotted for administrative duties such as documentation and participation in relevant meetings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting each student's unique needs
- Maintain detailed service records and progress notes in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Consult with educational teams and caregivers to optimize student participation and progress
