Work Environment\n

This position operates in a fully remote capacity within our outpatient facility framework. While you will conduct most sessions virtually, you may be required to attend occasional in-person meetings for collaborative case consultations or team-building exercises. Our supportive infrastructure is designed to foster your professional development while maintaining a work-life balance. The standard work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate each patient's trauma history and therapeutic needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans emphasizing resilience and recovery specific to each patient's unique situation.

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that create a safe space for patients to process trauma and develop coping strategies.
  • \n

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring all dimensions of patient well-being are addressed.
  • \n

  • Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating adaptability and quick decision-making.

  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms to facilitate a deeper understanding of the healing process.

  • Consistently maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

  • Participate actively in case consultations, professional development workshops, and team meetings to remain at the forefront of trauma-informed care innovations.

  • Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, incorporating new findings into your treatment approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals who have experienced trauma and may be struggling with conditions such as PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient demographic diverse, including adults, adolescents, and families, requiring a nuanced understanding of various trauma responses and the development of tailored treatment strategies.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.
  • \n

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, underpinned by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
