Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Case Manager in a supportive middle school environment, serving students in 8th grade with a diverse range of learning needs—including Autism and ADHD. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping students thrive both academically and socially.
This contract opportunity offers full-time hours and a collaborative atmosphere, working closely with another Case Manager to balance caseloads and ensure every student receives personalized attention. Paraprofessional support is available for students requiring additional assistance.
Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire Special Education Teaching License (1900 Endorsement) preferred
- Candidates with sufficient class credits to apply for a letter of eligibility will be considered
- Strong understanding of IEP development, compliance, and execution
- Demonstrated experience with middle school students, especially those with Autism and ADHD
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and paraprofessionals to support student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide case management for approximately 20-30 8th grade students receiving special education services
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with general and special education staff to differentiate instruction
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, interdisciplinary team discussions, and professional development activities
