General Laborer
Position Summary
Morgan Staffing Services is seeking dependable, hardworking General Laborers to assist with residential property projects. The position involves physical labor, moving materials, assisting with job-site preparation, and supporting the project team in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist with general labor tasks at residential properties.
· Load, unload, carry, and move construction materials, tools, and supplies.
· Assist with preparing work areas and setting up job sites.
· Remove debris and maintain clean, organized work areas.
· Assist skilled workers and project team members as directed.
· Transport materials and equipment to and from designated work areas.
· Follow instructions from supervisors and crew leaders.
· Comply with all job-site safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or potential hazards to the supervisor.
· Perform other general labor duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
· Previous general labor or construction experience preferred but not required.
· Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday.
· Ability to lift and carry materials as required by the assignment.
· Comfortable working at residential properties and in varying job-site conditions.
· Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
· Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.
· Reliable transportation to the designated meeting location or job site, as required.
· Ability to pass a background check.
Physical Requirements
· Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
· Repeated lifting, carrying, and moving of materials.
· Ability to work indoors and outdoors, depending on the project.
· Ability to navigate residential work areas safely.
Work Schedule and Compensation
· Position: Residential General Laborer
· Client: Pioneer Basement
· Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent
· Schedule: 8am (Start) to Completion of the day
· Pay Rate: $18/hr. + overtime (weekly)
· Work Location: Various residential properties, as assigned
Workplace Expectations
Employees are expected to arrive on time, follow supervisor instructions, maintain professional conduct, communicate effectively, and comply with all applicable safety requirements. Employees must not operate power tools or machinery unless properly trained and authorized.
