Job Title: Construction Manager

Location: South Deerfield, MA (Onsite)

Duration: Contract

\n

Pay Rate: $75–$85/hour (W2) all inclusive

\n


\n

We have an immediate opening for a Construction Manager supporting capital projects at a chemical manufacturing facility in South Deerfield, MA.

\n


\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Manage construction, expansion, and capital improvement projects from planning through completion.
  • \n

  • Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and EHS teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • \n

  • Oversee contractors, subcontractors, and vendors while ensuring compliance with site safety requirements.
  • \n

  • Review engineering drawings, P&IDs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • \n

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, Process Safety Management (PSM), Management of Change (MOC), LOTO, hot work permits, confined space entry, and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
  • \n

  • Monitor installation of process equipment, piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
  • \n

  • Provide project status updates and support permitting activities with regulatory agencies.
  • \n

Required Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • \n

  • 5–10 years of Construction Management experience, including at least 3 years in a chemical, petrochemical, refinery, or industrial process plant environment.
  • \n

  • Experience managing EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects.
  • \n

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, PSM, contractor safety, and industrial construction practices.
  • \n

  • Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar scheduling software.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of process piping, P&IDs, mechanical equipment installation, and instrumentation.
  • \n

\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • PMP or Certified Construction Manager (CCM).
  • \n

  • Experience with ASME, API, NEC, and NFPA codes.
  • \n

  • Hazardous materials or EPA RMP experience.
  • \n

  • Turnaround/shutdown project experience.
  • \n
