Position Overview
The HVAC Installation Technician is responsible for the professional installation of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, with a specialized focus on ductless mini-split and air-source heat pump technology. Working under the guidance of a Lead Technician, you will ensure every project meets rigorous quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and state licensing requirements. This role is ideal for a licensed technician who prides themselves on delivering efficient, code-compliant work while maintaining a high level of professionalism and safety.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Execution: Perform advanced installation tasks, including line set routing, flaring, pressure testing, and complex electrical connections.

System Commissioning: Verify system charging, calibration, and operational performance to ensure equipment is running at peak efficiency before leaving the site.

Team Support: Coordinate with project managers and leads to allocate work assignments and mentor apprentices on-site, ensuring consistent workmanship across the crew.

Compliance & Safety: Maintain detailed project documentation and equipment records while ensuring all work strictly adheres to OSHA, NEC, and local building codes.

Customer Relations: Serve as a professional point of contact for homeowners, providing clear status updates and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through clean and organized work practices.

5+ years of HVAC installation experience, specifically with ductless mini-split or VRF systems.

Demonstrated leadership ability, with the skill set to coordinate projects and supervise small crews concurrently.

Strong technical aptitude in mechanical, refrigerant, and electrical systems, including proficiency with recovery equipment and diagnostic tools.

Valid Driver"s License with a clean record and a Valid EPA 608 Universal Certification (strongly preferred).
