Description\n
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a high acuity floor requiring 2+ years of ms/tele experience and an active NH or compact RN license.
Details\n
- \n
- High acuity Med Surge / Respiratory Care Unit within a hospital setting
- 20-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:5, sometimes 1:6
- Common patient diagnoses include PNA, COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, osteomyelitis, diabetic foot infections, hepatic encephalopathy, renal failure, bowel obstruction, end of life care, and wounds
- 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week
- 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- No on-call requirements
- May be required to float to Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin
- Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements\n

- Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- 2+ years of Med/Surg Tele experience required
- Current BLS required
- NIHSS certification required prior to start
- ACLS certification required
- Must complete a Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%
- Skills checklist matching specialty required
- Driver's license with address matching demographics required
- NURSYS report and verification of all active RN licenses required
- RTO must be included at time of consideration

- Provide direct patient care to high acuity medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Weekly orientation provided
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at the local rate
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
