Speech Language Pathologist, Acute Care, travel assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Start date 10/12/2026 for 13 contract weeks. Weekly pay range $2,541–$2,709 per week with guaranteed hours of 36. Shift is 5x8 days, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (08:00:00–16:30:00). Practice setting: skilled nursing facility. Responsibilities
- Assess and treat adults with communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders within the SNF setting
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans; document patient progress in medical records
- Conduct bedside swallow screens and evaluate dysphagia as appropriate; coordinate referrals for diet modification or further testing
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support discharge planning and functional goals
- Provide patient and family education on communication strategies, swallowing safety, and prognosis
- Ensure timely, accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory and facility policies

Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the United States or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts
- Certification such as CCC-SLP preferred or eligibility to obtain
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility setting and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong documentation skills and the ability to manage a patient caseload for a 36-hour minimum per week schedule
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment and maintain professional standards in a fast-paced environment
