Role Description The Teacher role is an Adult Diploma Program (ADP) Plan Manager. Northeast Kingdom Learning Services, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position located in Newport, Vermont. The ADP Plan Manager will design and deliver engaging lessons and activities aligned with program goals and learner needs, using a variety of instructional strategies and materials. Daily responsibilities include lesson planning, direct instruction, individual and small-group support, assessment of learner progress, and maintaining accurate records. The ADP Plan Manager will communicate regularly with learners, families, and colleagues, participate in team meetings and professional development, and contribute to a positive, supportive learning environment. This role also involves adapting instruction for diverse learning styles and providing encouragement and guidance to help learners reach their goals.\n

• Strong instructional and classroom skills, including Teaching and Education experience.

\n

• Ability to design effective learning experiences for personalized learning plans.

\n

• Clear and respectful Communication skills for working with colleagues, partners, communit members and students.

\n

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred or Associates Degree with experience. Willing to train the right candidate.

\n

• Experience working with diverse learners and a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered practices.

\n

• Organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a classroom setting.

• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and collaboration within a team environment
