Job DescriptionJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Follow the teacher's written lesson plans and teach the scheduled classesProvide students with a calm, productive, and on task environment.Consult with the principal and/or staff to resolve questions and/or concernsComply with all building procedures and schedulesImplement effective pupil management and supervisory procedures, maintain high standards and uphold the student conduct codeWork cooperatively with other teachersUphold computer technology acceptable use policies.Maintain accurate records and submits reports on timeMaintain the confidentiality of privileged informationTake precautions to ensure staff/student safetyAlert to student behavior that may indicate a problem (e.g., profanity, teasing, bullying, distress, etc.), intervene and/or report concerns to an administratorSupervise non-classroom duties when assignedStrives to develop rapport and serve as a positive role model for othersPerforms other specific job-related duties as directedDAILY PAY RATE:No Degree- $125Bachelors or higher - $165Retired Teacher or Licensed Teacher - $250EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree preferred.Excellent communication skills verbal, written and interpersonalThe Lowell Community Charter Public School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, homelessness, or limited English proficiency in administering its educational policies, admissions policies, and the full-range of school-administered programs.
