Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in telespeech services within a school setting. This role involves providing remote speech therapy to students, supporting their communication development through virtual platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments via telepractice.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Document progress and update treatment goals regularly.
- Collaborate with educators and families to promote effective communication strategies.
- Comply with school policies and state regulations concerning teletherapy services.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure or certification to practice as an SLP.
- Experience delivering telespeech or teletherapy services in educational environments.
- Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively.
Location: Essex Junction, Vermont (remote service delivery from this location).
