Job DescriptionMEDICAL ASSISTANT – PHYSICIAN OFFICE
HOUSING NOTE:
- Housing can be challenging in the area.
- Travelers should have housing options secured or identified prior to submission.
SKILLS NEEDED:
- Vital sign measurement.
- Injections and immunizations.
- Rooming patients.
- Reviewing medical histories.
- Preparing patients for examinations and minor procedures.
- Performing EKGs.
- Medical terminology knowledge.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adjust to changing schedules.
- Ability to travel between clinics as needed.
- Meditech experience is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1–2 years of current Medical Assistant experience. – REQUIRED.
- Previous travel experience. – HIGHLY PREFERRED.
- AAMA or equivalent certification. – REQUIRED, must be in hand and uploaded.
- Active AHA BLS. – REQUIRED.
- Current license/certifications at time of submission.
