Job Description:
\n
Radiologic Technologist trained in all aspects of scrubbing and running the X-ray equipment associated with all procedures for both the Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures lab.
\n
Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry.
- Scrubbing in for Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures.
- Panning Heart Catheters.
- Evaluates images to ensure they possess the necessary quality for diagnosis.
- Performs special procedures radiography according to department procedures.
- Maintains procedural areas neatly and orderly, ensuring readiness for examinations.
- Completes assigned examinations within prescribed amount of time.
- Reports for duty in appropriate attire and ready for patient care.
- Reviews requisition for pertinent information and special requests.
- Positions and preps patients and sets up equipment for procedures.
- Scrubs and assists physician during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Reports all unusual reactions or conditions to nurse.
- Uses judgment in providing information and is sensitive to concerns.
- Demonstrates willingness to rotate among shifts or departments.
- Other duties consistent with the role.

Requirements:
\n

- Current NH ARRT license required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
- Completion of a certificate or degree in radiologic technology required.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Competencies to include Balloon Pump and Impella.
- Must have 2 years of Cath Lab experience and ability to take call.
