This full-time contract role, based near Enfield, NH, runs August 2026 through June 2027. As a Paraprofessional, you’ll work Monday through Friday, with weekly hours ranging from 32 to 37.5, ensuring steady and engaging workdays throughout the school year. You'll collaborate with educators and special education teams to assist students individually and in groups, facilitating learning and social-emotional growth. Your efforts will directly contribute to a positive classroom atmosphere and meaningful student outcomes.
Desired Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting as a paraprofessional or similar support role
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, especially with teenagers and school staff
- Ability to follow classroom plans and maintain a supportive learning environment
- Dependable, patient, and adaptable when supporting diverse student needs
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with instructional activities and daily classroom tasks
- Support high school students with academic work and social development
- Provide one-on-one or small group guidance under educator supervision
- Help manage classroom behavior and foster a positive, inclusive environment
