Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within a school setting in Medford, MA. This role involves providing remote speech therapy to students, supporting their communication development and language skills through virtual sessions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and individualized therapy sessions via telepractice platforms
- Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborating with educators and families to monitor progress and adjust goals
- Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation following state and federal guidelines
- Participating in virtual meetings and training as required
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility
- Proven experience delivering telepractice speech-language services, preferably in educational settings
- Knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and evidence-based intervention techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and collaborate with school personnel
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively in a remote environment
- Familiarity with teletherapy technology and software platforms
