A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist with expertise in school-based practice. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid New Hampshire Occupational Therapy license
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of student physical development and self-regulation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of students’ functional abilities and self-regulation needs to guide interventions
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans, coordinating with educators and families to support each student’s unique objectives
  • Monitor progress and adapt strategies to promote student participation and achievement
  • Identify and address environmental barriers, providing recommendations to ensure equity and accessibility for learners with diverse needs
  • Serve as a resource for staff on integrating OT strategies within the classroom environment
