A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist with expertise in school-based practice. Key Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire Occupational Therapy license
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of student physical development and self-regulation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of students’ functional abilities and self-regulation needs to guide interventions
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans, coordinating with educators and families to support each student’s unique objectives
- Monitor progress and adapt strategies to promote student participation and achievement
- Identify and address environmental barriers, providing recommendations to ensure equity and accessibility for learners with diverse needs
- Serve as a resource for staff on integrating OT strategies within the classroom environment
