Job DescriptionJoin Our Bulk Team!The Middlebury Natural Foods Co-op is seeking a Bulk Department Specialist to bring product knowledge, attention to detail, organizational skills, and inventory control expertise to our Bulk Department. This role combines customer service, data management and operational support to keep our shelves full, our systems running smoothly, and our shoppers happy.What You'll Do:Serve as a go-to resource for staff, members, and shoppersReview invoices, track inventory, and ensure pricing accuracySupport replenishment buying team with order guide and inventory management supportSupport merchandising plans and maintain an organized and labeled warehouseMentor new staff and assist with daily operationsShare vendor updates and product changes with the teamWhat We're Looking For:Organized & Detail-Oriented: Skilled in tracking inventory, following processes and Customer Service Focused: Friendly, helpful, and responsive to shopper needsCollaborative Communicator: Works well in a team environmentInventory Control experience: understanding of inventory level management and warehouse organizationData Management: work with Excel and POS systemsPrice Management: understanding of invoicing, and marginsPhysically Capable: Lift up to 50 lbs., work in coolers, and stand for extended periodsNatural Foods Enthusiast: Interest in local and natural foods a plusWhat We Offer:Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; 3+ weeks paid time off; 401(k); 20% store discount; retirement insurance, and morePay: $20.25-23, based on experienceMeaningful Work: Support local food systems, sustainability, and healthy living *$500 hiring bonus available. $500 paid out after 6 months of employment for external candidates only.* Apply now: middlebury.coop/careers
