Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Massachusetts Special Education Teaching Certification

- Strong collaboration skills for working with paraprofessionals, support staff, and families
- Adaptability in managing a mixed-grade, substantially separate classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction aligned with each student’s IEP goals
- Develop engaging, age-appropriate lessons for a multi-grade classroom
- Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages growth, belonging, and self-confidence
- Collaborate with colleagues and related service providers to ensure holistic support for each learner
- Consistently track and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student achievements and areas of development
