Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans.

• Complete all clinical documentation promptly and accurately, adhering to both internal and regulatory standards.

\n

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools specified by the clinical team to evaluate client needs effectively.

\n

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans catered to individual circumstances.

\n

• Engage actively in the accreditation and licensing processes, ensuring compliance with organizational and state regulations.

\n

• Act as a liaison with external service systems, state agencies, and community partners, fostering collaborative relationships to enhance client care.

• Communicate openly and effectively to meet service delivery standards and promote the mission of Alvita in the community.

\n

• Build and sustain relationships with various local, state, federal, and private agencies to promote our programs and explore potential partnerships and funding opportunities.

• Commit to ongoing personal and professional development by attending training sessions, conferences, and relevant meetings to remain engaged in trends and advancements in the mental health field.

• Promote the agency's philosophy, values, and principles in every aspect of your work.

• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, adapting to the evolving needs of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients encompass a wide spectrum of individuals seeking help with mental health issues, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities. As an LMHC, you will work with diverse patient populations, tailoring your approach to address their unique circumstances and empower them on their journey toward recovery and wellness. Your role is crucial in guiding them through challenges and connecting them with the resources they need.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health field is mandatory.

• An active and independent LMHC license is required.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, prior experience in outpatient mental health settings, familiarity with evidence-based therapies, and experience working with diverse populations will be advantageous. If you are licensed and currently practicing in another state, we are pleased to assist with the licensing process in Massachusetts, covering any associated fees to ensure a smooth transition.
