Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and families to establish individualized treatment plans.

  • Provide therapy to both individuals and families, utilizing evidence-based techniques tailored to the specific needs identified during assessments.
  • \n

  • Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and treatment plans, including obtaining necessary insurance authorizations.
  • \n

  • Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to help maintain patient stability and recovery.
  • \n

  • Create comprehensive discharge plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
  • \n

  • Adhere strictly to all relevant federal and state regulations, as well as NEHS policies and procedures, to maintain compliance and high standards of care.
  • \n

  • Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education, upholding licensure requirements and staying updated on best practices.
  • \n

  • Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, fostering a collaborative approach to client care.
  • \n

  • Complete all mandatory training and licensure reviews as required by state laws and organizational protocols.
  • \n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily support a diverse range of clients, encompassing various ages, backgrounds, and mental health needs. Your role is crucial in addressing a wide spectrum of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics, particularly within the Boston community where you will work with patients remotely.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's Degree: Required in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or related field that qualifies for licensure.

  • Licensure: You must hold a current license as a mental health therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in the State of Massachusetts.

Preferred Experience\n

While candidates with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those who demonstrate a proven track record in outpatient therapy settings and possess expertise in culturally responsive therapy practices.
