Make a difference every day working with elementary students as a skilled Registered Behavior Technician or experienced Behavior Tech/Para. This contract opportunity offers the chance to create a positive impact within a vibrant educational setting near Derry, NH. The role involves working onsite in an elementary classroom, supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Strong experience in behavioral support within educational or specialized settings is essential.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required (please provide a copy with your application)
- Experience working in a classroom or school-based behavior setting is mandatory; 1:1 experience alone is not sufficient
- Demonstrated expertise supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) preferred
- Comfortable working exclusively onsite
- Must be available from approximately October 12, 2026 through May 27, 2027 for a 32.5-hour workweek
- Ability to take direction from, and collaborate with, an onsite BCBA supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral support to students in an elementary school environment
- Implement individualized programs and strategies for students with ASD and behavioral needs
- Accurately collect and record data on student progress and behaviors
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and supervisory BCBA
- Foster a safe, positive environment to promote social, academic, and emotional growth
