BK Systems, Inc an Altus Fire & Life Safety Company located in Pembroke, NH, is looking for a Draftsman to join our team!

- Use of AutoCAD software to create Fire Alarm layouts, as-builts, and riser diagrams.
- Create product submittals for permits and AHJ approval.
- Create battery and voltage drop calculations for fire alarm systems.
- Support sales staff by reviewing plans and specifications for technical accuracy and best practices.
- Communicate with the project managers and customers for status updates of assigned jobs.
- Ensure AutoCAD files are kept organized and titled alike.
- Occasionally perform site visits to measure and sketch building floorplans.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 2+years of relevant experience
- Ability to operate present version of AutoCAD proficiently.
- Knowledge of blueprints and project specifications is a plus.
- Strong organization, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word.
