Key qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) credential
- Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents, particularly those with selective mutism
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with families, staff, and external professionals
- Prior experience with school-based counseling preferred
- Ability to complete administrative documentation with attention to clarity and confidentiality
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct counseling services to three students, focusing on their individual needs and treatment plans
- Provide approximately six hours of services weekly, with additional time for documentation and participation in meetings
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop intervention strategies tailored to each student
- Track progress, document sessions, and maintain compliance with school and state record-keeping requirements
- Collaborate with teaching staff, special education professionals, and family members to support student success
