Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Special Education Teacher is needed to provide telehealth services to students requiring specialized instructional support. This remote contract position focuses on delivering effective educational interventions and accommodations tailored to individual learning needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual special education sessions with students to address individualized education program (IEP) goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement appropriate instructional strategies.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of telehealth sessions.
- Provide guidance and resources to families and caregivers supporting student learning at home.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and educational standards in a remote setting.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure in Special Education.
- Experience delivering special education services, preferably in a telehealth or remote format.
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and individualized instructional techniques.
- Proficient with virtual communication platforms and educational technology.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
