Position Summary:
The CCBHC Site Clinician at River Valley Counseling Center (RVCC) is responsible for [brief summary of the role’s purpose, primary functions, and overall impact]. The position offers opportunities for professional growth within a supportive, team-oriented environment while maintaining client dignity, autonomy, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- To work as a critical team member of an IHCT
- To oversee clinical evaluations and treatments of clients of all ages and families
- To provide direct care to clients and families as necessary, as well as oversee any necessary outreach, advocacy, or case consultation appropriate to meet the needs of the clients and their families.
- To report abuse/neglect cases to the appropriate regulatory agencies.
- To ensure that accurate and prompt documentation in client’s records occurs, and that client referral forms for other agencies and facilities are completed on a timely basis.
- To be knowledgeable about and comply with applicable regulations including DMH, DPH, Medicaid, and third-party billing; to monitor performance of staff to ensure adherence with all applicable regulations.
- To demonstrate support for the Mission of RVCC by showing behavior consistent with the goals and objectives of the organization with regard to client care; to accept and demonstrate accountability for personal, professional, legal, and ethical standards in accordance with RVCC’s Code of Ethical Behavior.
- To assist in developing policies and procedures for the Clinic and ensure that staff are informed of updates or changes in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Masters level/degree with a concentration in human services, counseling, clinical psychology, or social work
- Three years of experience as a therapist with at least one year in a supervisory capacity; strong background in family interventions, including chemical dependencies; bilingual (Spanish/English) ability desirable.
Preferred:
- Current Massachusetts license such as an LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC

Summary of Benefits:
- Salary Range: $45,000- $60,000
Based on years of experience, level of education, specialty and licensure/certifications. Additional Compensation for advanced education for qualifying positions.
