Qualifications
- Valid state certification in Special Education
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Special Education or related field
- Previous experience managing caseloads, IEP creation, and teaching in an inclusive setting
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Teach and case manage approximately 15 students across 2nd and 5th grade at two nearby schools
- Develop and implement personalized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, aides, and support staff
- Regularly communicate with families regarding student progress
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all special education regulations
