Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Serenity Hope and Healing, you will take on a critical role that includes a variety of responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients, incorporating evidence-based practices to ensure high-quality care.

• Facilitate crisis interventions and the creation of behavioral guidelines while completing necessary documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Employ standardized screening tools in collaboration with the clinical team to assess client needs and develop effective treatment strategies.

\n

• Work in tandem with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that address individual client requirements.

\n

• Engage in licensing and accreditation processes, consistently contributing to maintaining Serenity Hope and Healing's high operational standards.

\n

• Serve as a liaison with state agencies, community partners, and other relevant service systems to ensure seamless delivery of client services.

\n

• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, promoting the agency's mission and enhancing program visibility within the community.

\n

• Build and nurture relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to identify new partnerships and funding opportunities.

\n

• Pursue ongoing professional development through conferences, training, and community engagement, positioning yourself as a resource in the mental health field.

• Promote the core values and principles of our organization in all aspects of your work, maintaining a client-centered approach.

• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to the overall success of the team.

You will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals seeking support for emotional challenges, those navigating substance use recovery, and clients with developmental issues or acquired brain injuries. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a related mental health field is essential.

• Must hold an independent LMHC license in Massachusetts. If currently licensed in another state, we will cover the necessary fees for obtaining licensure in Massachusetts.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, prior experience in mental health counseling, particularly in outpatient settings, will be advantageous. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and experience collaborating in multidisciplinary settings will further enhance your effectiveness in this role.
