Job DescriptionHVAC Installer
Key Responsibilities
- Lead installation projects for residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Install and service systems including:
- Furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-splits
- Boilers and radiant heat systems
- Oil, propane, natural gas, and air systems
- Ductwork and ventilation systems
- Communicate with customers, providing clear explanations and answering questions
- Supervise and mentor installation team members
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- 4+ years of HVAC installation experience
- 2+ years of leadership or job supervision experience (preferred)
- Experience with radiant heat systems
- EPA Universal Certification
- Strong knowledge of:
- Refrigerant, gas, oil, propane, and electric heating/cooling systems
- Heat pumps and ductless systems
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Experience with HVAC low-voltage systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- HVAC technical school certification (preferred)
