We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Fairview Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.

The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide quality physical therapy services to patients. The role involves helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and overall functional independence.

Requirements\n

- Current and active Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred/required based on facility requirements.
- Previous clinical experience as a PTA preferred.
- SNF, rehabilitation, or long-term-care experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Ability to safely assist patients with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic activities.
