Radiology Technologist II
\n
The Radiology Technologist II plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging through various radiologic procedures. This position ensures optimal patient care and safety while providing essential support to radiologists.
Essential Functions\n
- \n
- Determines appropriate radiographic techniques based on patient anatomy and condition to obtain high-quality images for radiologists.
- Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures, which may include transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and positioning them appropriately.
- Explains procedures to patients while considering their physical and emotional needs.
- Records digital images as directed for interpretation by the radiologist.
- Maintains accurate and relevant patient records.
- Ensures radiation protection in accordance with safety standards.
- May assist Radiology Technologist Students and new staff in performing radiologic exams, ensuring proper technique, and maintaining supplies in radiographic rooms.

Qualifications Education\n

- Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Imaging required.
\n
Licenses and Credentials\n
- \n
- State License as a Radiologic Technologist required.
- Registered Technologist credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS Certification) preferred.

Experience\n
- \n
- 2-3 years of experience as a Radiology Technician with diverse patient populations preferred.
\n
Schedule\n
This position offers a total of 40 hours per week, structured as three 10-hour days and two 5-hour days, including weekend shifts.

The specific schedule includes:

- Saturday and Sunday: 8 AM - 1 PM
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8 AM - 6:30 PM
